Old-time aviation will take over Springfield-Beckly Airport on the weekend of July 11-2 for the second annual Barnstorming Carnival.
Antique cars and biplanes will be on display. Activities will include radio controlled aircraft demonstrations and model rocket workshops as well as a variety of children’s activities. Each day will begin with a pancake breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Modern-day barnstormers with beautifully restored, antique biplanes will sell rides. The event is open to the public until 7 p.m. each day. Admission is free.
