Dayton air show announces 2015 dates

In NAHA News /

Officials at the Vectren Dayton Air Show Presented by Kroger have announced the 2015 show will take place June 20-21 at the Dayton International Airport. It will mark the 41st consecutive year for the show, a premier summer event in the Dayton-Cincinnati-Columbus region.

June show dates have become a tradition for the show in recent years. “It’s a little cooler and positions us well for scheduling by the popular U.S. military jet teams,” said Michael Emoff, Chairman of the USATS Board of Trustees, the governing organization of the event. The show has applied for the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds in 2015. The team will announce selected show sites for 2015 on December 9, 2014.

Show officials also reported they have been busy booking attractions and promise an exciting lineup for the 2015 show that will thrill young and old alike. Details on the lineup will be made public later this year and announced on the show’s website. Visit daytonairshow.com for more information.
