The National Aviation Heritage Alliance (NAHA) on Thursday, Oct. 30, completed its first scheduled tour of the Wright Company Factory Site.
A dozen aviation heritage enthusiasts and interested citizens toured the original Wright brothers’ airplane factory buildings and three attached structures.
The factory is not open to the public, but NAHA has begun offering tours to raise awareness of the site, both for its historical significance as America’s first airplane factory as well as the potential for redevelopment of associated buildings and land as an aerospace education and manufacturing center.
NAHA has scheduled the next tour for Thursday, Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. There is no charge for the tour, but please contact us for details and directions.
