Starting Friday, Oct. 17, Dayton History will conduct shuttle van tours of the Paul Laurence Dunbar House, a state memorial, national historic landmark and a unit of the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park.
Tours will depart from Carillon Historical Park year round on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. and Saturdays at 3 p.m. School classes and other large groups will continue to arrive directly at the site. Admission rates remain unchanged at $6.00 per adult (18+) and $3.00 per child (3-17). Admission is free to Dayton History and Ohio History Connection members.
Located at 219 North Paul Laurence Dunbar Street in West Dayton, the house was the final home of the first internationally acclaimed African American poet and author.
